Measurement Results
- The sample was removed from and reinserted into the resonator before every measurement.
- The front and back faces were reversed each time the sample was reinserted.
- Results from ten measurements performed by multiple operators were compiled.

Key Point!
- EM labs Fabry-Perot resonators achieve repeatability better than 0.5%.
- Different operators obtain the same values, even when the measurements are performed by multiple people.
Repeatability, the ability to obtain the same result under the same conditions, is essential in material characterization. High repeatability makes it possible to detect small differences between materials during R&D and apply the findings to subsequent prototypes. In production, stable sample monitoring also supports more precise quality control.
Here, a low-loss thin plate was measured repeatedly. The sample was removed from and reinserted into the fixture for each measurement, and multiple operators performed the work, reproducing conditions close to an actual measurement workflow.
